Hi — I’m Krish Bhuva, Co-Founder at Elyton. Thanks for being on this journey with us.

Space: Secured a 6-month free lease extension at our current lab space, in return for 1% fully diluted equity to UConn TIP.
Fundraising: Won $2,000 at Wolff New Venture; Won a key at PITCH Lift, potentially 100k in non-dilutive funding.

Connecticut Innovations TAP Approval: Elyton received provisional approval for funding through Connecticut Innovations’ SSBCI Technical Assistance Program, which will help cover legal services, including intellectual property protection and commercial contract development.
Engineering: Built a lot of cool stuff this month! Pics below :)
Asks
Introductions to owners or operators of machine shops and manufacturing businesses.
Connections within aerospace and defense manufacturing, especially people familiar with metal additive manufacturing.
Guidance on regulatory and quality requirements, particularly NADCAP and AS9100.
Outgoing
Non-dilutive funding through VentureWell Propel
Pitching at Hartford Innovation Week Startup Showcase on Oct. 28th
Submitted a project pitch for NSF SBIR Phase 1 funding

We are going to finish our first muzzle and generate revenue by the end of November. Things have become shockingly simple. It’s time to move the needle; we’re going back to our roots and exclusively building for the next two months.

Colin & Krish tabling at Wolff New Venture on Oct. 13th, where we won $2k.

Proprietary “Elyton Mini Machine,” our base platform for a cheap, repeatable RPECM production line. Isn’t she so pretty :)

More angles because it’s a masterpiece. Also, a big red stop button.

Elyton’s proprietary “Super Sense V0” senses current and interfaces with mesa boards to execute feedback loops.

Krish after winning a key at Pitch LIFT. Fun time; can’t wait to pitch at the semis!
